More on FAQ #2002
2002. What if I’m a photographic artist who wants to push my photography beyond an “undoctored record” of what things look like?
That’s fine; follow your muse and don’t worry about TTG.
Any image-creator who doesn’t want the strictures of the Trust Test can do whatever they please and it won’t affect TTG.
(From “B” of FAQ #330: “For many photographers who aren’t concerned with TTG, AIFI will eventually offer unlimited creative possibilities.”)
TTG was never intended for those who don’t want to preserve an undoctored record of what their camera lens saw, whether they decline for purposes of “art” or for any other reason.
With billions of new photographs being created every day, there’s plenty of room for all interests and tastes.
