third-party image provider
For TTG purposes, a “third-party” image provider is
Any entity {organization?} that puts photographs before the public and over which the photographer does not have full control of content.
(The photographer is the “first” party; the viewer is the “second.”)
Examples of third-party image providers:
• websites over which the photographer does not have full control of content
• publications over which the photographer does not have full control of content
• photo-contest sponsors
• stock-photo agencies
• exhibitors
• camera clubs
• all other organizations and entities that meet the description in boldface above.
See the guide to Publishing TTG Photographs for more on the role of third-party image providers.
