What name can TTG photographers use?
TTG photographers can use whatever name they want when attaching the TTG label
. . . but they may want to choose a unique online identity (UOI)
(Pronounced like an anagram of “Oui” and “I.O.U.”)
The term “UOI” refers to the unique online identity that a photographer chooses for themself — a name that no one else in the world has.
The most common examples of UOIs that can be used with the TTG label are the URL of a photographer’s monosite or the photographer’s username on a social-media platform.
The advantage for TTG purposes is that each UOI is unique — no one else has exactly the same UOI — so confusion is minimized about which photographer is standing behind the TTG label.
Photographers should note that TTG-ready providers are free to reject UOIs that they find problematic.
