fauxkeh (rhymes with “bokeh”)
The term “fauxkeh” — a combination of “faux” and “bokeh” — refers to any changes in apparently out-of-focus areas that are executed by any non-optical means (whether on smartphone or computer).
If you are able to change the appearance of “bokeh” after a photo is taken, you are seeing “fauxkeh.”
Any implementation of “fauxkeh,” and any change to bokeh other than eliminating* fauxkeh — regardless of how convincing the result may look — always disqualifies a photograph from P2 and thus from TTG.
*Fortunately, smartphone users who want to make a TTG-qualified photo can easily get rid of “fauxkeh” by moving the slider so that as much of the photo is in focus as possible.
